EDI Roundtable for Nonprofit Executives: Brave Spaces for Bold Action

Brave Spaces for Bold Action

February 14 - March 13, 2024
11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

The EDI Roundtables for Nonprofit Executives is a five-part, interactive series for nonprofit leaders to generate ideas, actions, and practical strategies they can implement within their organizations to recognize and eliminate systemic barriers and practices. Looking through the lens of five essential nonprofit management practices rooted in the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits' Principles & Practices: Best Practices for North Carolina Nonprofits guide, and building on our Walking the Talk initiative, this series provides a brave space for courageous and meaningful dialogue that addresses the nonprofit sector’s racial leadership gap and the policies, practices, and organizational cultures in nonprofits that exacerbate these gaps.

Each weekly 90-minute session will have:

  • A virtual lunch & learn format from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm
  • Facilitators with expertise on the topic, who will provide training, tools, and insights, then facilitate Q&A and breakout discussions among participants

Who should attend:

  • Executive Directors, CEOs
  • Senior Level Staff
  • Staff Directors (HR, program, finance, development, communications)
