The mission of Mooresville Arts is to be an advocate for the artist and to be an artistic and cultural resource for the Mooresville and Lake Norman community.
The Folk School transforms lives, bringing people together in a nurturing environment for experiences in learning and community life that spark self-discovery. Located in scenic Brasstown, North Carolina, the Folk School offers year-round weeklong and weekend classes for adults in craft, art, music, dance, cooking, gardening, nature studies, photography and writing.

ArtGivers makes the healing power of original art available to more people in more places. We purchase art from emerging artists and offer it for free to mission-driven organizations like free and charitable medical clinics, shelters, and drug rehab centers, to own and hang in their facilities. This supports both the people who view and engage with the art, and the artists who create it.
The Alamance Battlegrounds Friends, Inc is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation formed under the North Carolina Nonprofit Corporation Act. The mission of the Alamance Battleground Friends, Inc. is to support, enhance, and promote education, interpretation, and preservation at the Alamance Battleground Historic Site. Alamance Battleground Friends, Inc. carries out this mission by:
• providing support and guidance to the site coordinators
• securing financial donations and grants to support site programs, and
To promote and enhance creative and performing arts in the greater Southport area
