The mission of BROAD is to be an active community based organization whose goal is to provide hope, opportunities, and resources for the community. This will be accomplished by supporting, enhancing, and maximizing the use of existing programs and resources for eliminating drug abuse among community residents; providing education and awareness on the extent of destructive effects of drug abuse in the Bunn, North Carolina and surrounding areas, giving high priority to prevention by providing wholesome activities for youth to aid in developing positive self-image and self-esteem; utilizing parenting skill programs; developing academic and manual skills for employment and providing wholesome recreation and socialization activities.
