The NC House of Representatives and NC Senate have each approved their versions of the state budget for FY2019-21. The Center has prepared a comparison chart highlighting key nonprofit provisions in the House and Senate versions of the budget and final legislative compromise budget released on June 25.
The Center also has compiled a list of the earmarks for nonprofits in the final version of the state budget. The include more than $117 million in appropriations to 207 nonprofits.
As legislators have not overridden the Governor's veto of the budget, the General Assembly has passed several "mini-budget" bills. The Center has also prepared a comparison chart highlighting key nonprofit provisions in the full budget and the "mini-budget" bills.
