The Humane Society of Jackson County, NC

Our mission is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, the facilitation of spay and neuter of animals, the transport and rehoming of animals, and the extension of humane education.

It is the policy of the Society to provide humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection in the area seved by the Society; to seek suitable homes for animals without homes; to provide access to low-cost or free spay or neuter or animals; to transport animals to no-kill shelters for the purposes of adoption; and to provide euthanasia when necessary.

Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc.

Mission: Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of golden retrievers in need. The organization advocates responsible pet ownership, community education and protection of all dogs.

Vision: Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue will have a strong, visible presence in the community and will be recognized as a leader in rescue, education and breed advocacy.

The Association: Advocates for the appropriate recognition and utilization of all roles in the Veterinary community including RVTs, Assistants, students, and support staff
- Invests in the future of VMT students by supporting student learning through Continuing Education
and scholarships
- Provide affordable continuing education
- Continues their involvement in outreach by informing the public about the roles of the whole

- Help donate to other non-profit animal groups in this state that many of you hold close to your heart
