North Carolina Education Corps works to eliminate barriers to opportunities by providing high-quality whole child and academic support to public school students in NC.
North Carolina Employee Ownership Center, Inc. (“NCEOC”) is an educational nonprofit corporation that is dedicated to protecting jobs, increasing community wealth, and creating a more vibrant, inclusive economy. We view employee ownership as a critical tool to achieve these goals. By educating the public on employee ownership, we hope to stimulate economic development in a way that broadens economic opportunity, to the benefit of traditionally disadvantaged groups.
NCEOC will primarily act as an educational organization, the purpose of which is to provide citizens of North Carolina a better understanding of the values, opportunities, and particulars of employee ownership.
NCEOC will provide instruction and training on the values, opportunities, and particulars of employee ownership to business leaders, lawyers, accountants, wealth advisors, bankers, public officials, employees, members of the media, and other persons and organizations in North Carolina. NCEOC will have a particular focus on outreach to African American, Hispanic, and other minority or economically marginalized business communities.
NCEOC’s activities will at all times be directed to promoting employee ownership in North Carolina as a tool to protect jobs, increase community wealth, and create a more vibrant, inclusive economy.
